1. Who we are and what this policy covers

Devereux Solutions is a business unit of Devereux Advanced Behavioral Health ("Devereux," "we," "us"), a nonprofit behavioral health organization headquartered in Villanova, Pennsylvania.

This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, share and protect information when you visit www.devereuxsolutions.org (the "Site") or contact us through it. It applies only to the Site. It does not cover other Devereux websites, which have their own policies, or information Devereux handles when providing clinical, educational or other services.

By using the Site, you acknowledge the practices described in this policy.

2. Information we collect

Information you give us. We collect personal information only when you choose to submit it through our contact form:

  • First and last name

  • Email address

  • The Devereux Solutions division you are interested in

  • Your message and anything you include in it

  • Whether you checked "Sign up for news and updates"

Information collected automatically. When you visit the Site, our website platform and analytics tools automatically collect technical information. This includes your IP address, browser and device type, pages viewed, time and date of your visit, and the website that referred you. We use this in aggregate and do not use it to identify you.

What we don't collect. The Site does not ask for payment information, Social Security numbers or health information. Please do not include health, treatment or other sensitive information about yourself or anyone else in your message.

3. How we use information

We use the information you submit to:

  • Respond to your inquiry and route it to the right Devereux Solutions leader or division

  • Follow up about the services you asked about

  • Send news and updates, but only if you checked the sign-up box

  • Keep internal records of our communications with you

We use automatically collected information to understand how the Site is used, fix problems, keep the Site secure and improve its content.

4. How we share information

We do not share your telephone number or email address with other organizations or permit them to contact you through either. On occasion, we may provide targeted lists of names and contact information to third parties for marketing purposes, subject to Devereux's permission policies. Other than that, we share personal information only as follows:

  • Within Devereux, with staff who need it to respond to your inquiry or provide the services you asked about

  • With service providers who host the Site, deliver our forms and emails, or provide analytics, and who may use the information only to perform those services for us

  • When required by law, such as to comply with a subpoena or court order, or to protect the rights, property or safety of Devereux, our users or others

  • In connection with an organizational change, such as a merger or reorganization, subject to this policy

We may share aggregate information that does not identify anyone, such as total visitors or most-viewed pages.

5. Cookies and analytics

The Site uses cookies and similar technologies, which are small files stored by your browser. Some are necessary for the Site and contact form to work. Others help us measure traffic and see which pages are most useful. The Site is hosted on [website platform], which sets its own cookies, and we use [analytics tool(s)] to understand Site usage.

You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. The Site will still work, though some features may not. We do not currently respond to browser "Do Not Track" signals, because there is no common standard for them.

6. Email communications and your choices

We add you to our news and updates list only if you check the sign-up box on the contact form. Every newsletter includes an unsubscribe link, and you can also opt out by emailing us at the address below. Unsubscribing from newsletters won't stop replies to an inquiry you sent us.

You may ask us to access, correct or delete the personal information you submitted through the Site. Contact us using the details in section 9 and we will respond within a reasonable time, subject to any records we are required to keep. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under state privacy laws, and we will honor requests as those laws require.

7. Security and retention

We use reasonable administrative, technical and physical safeguards to protect the information you submit, and we limit access to staff who need it. No website or internet transmission is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security. We keep contact form submissions only as long as needed to respond, maintain our records and meet legal obligations.

8. Other important information

Health information. The Site is not intended for sharing protected health information. If you receive services from Devereux, your health information is governed by Devereux's HIPAA Notice of Privacy Practices, not this policy.

Children. The Site is intended for adults and organizations. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has submitted information, contact us and we will delete it.

Links to other websites. The Site links to other sites, including www.devereux.org. We are not responsible for the privacy practices or content of sites we do not control, and we encourage you to read their policies.

9. Changes and contact us

We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we will post the new version here and change the effective date above. Your continued use of the Site after an update means you accept the revised policy.
