Center for Autism Education Services
The Devereux Center for Autism Education Services offers empirically-validated behavioral treatment programs for individuals with autism spectrum disorders, as well as children, adolescents and adults with behavioral concerns and/or other developmental disabilities.
Center for Resilient Children
The Devereux Center for Resilient Children promotes the healthy social and emotional development of young children, from birth through preschool, by fostering resilience and building the skills needed for success in school and life.
Center for Effective Schools
The Center for Effective Schools offers professional development trainings for school staff, parents and support professionals. We provide continuing education credits for BCBAs, psychologists, counselors, social workers and teachers.
Center for School-Based Mental Health Services
The Devereux Center for School-Based Mental Health Services provides comprehensive, school-based mental health services to support the emotional and behavioral health and well-being of students.

Meet the Team
Colleen Katzenmoyer, Ed.D.
Vice President of Education Services
Dr. Colleen Katzenmoyer is an educational leader with nearly two decades of experience specializing in special education administration, school psychology and systemic program improvement. She provides strategic oversight and leadership of the Educational Services division, including center-based school programs and in-district student supports.
Laura Rutherford, Ph.D., NCSP, BCBA
Director, Devereux Educational Strategies and Solutions
Dr. Laura Rutherford has years of experience includes providing training, assessment and consultation services to teachers, parents and multi-disciplinary teams in both school and home settings around MTSS for behavior, mental health, and academics.
Timothy Dunsmore, MBA, MS
Director of Student Support Services and Operations
Timothy Dunsmore has more than 15 years of experience advancing student services, behavioral health programming, and community operations. He oversees strategy to enhance supportive services for students and families across school districts and other public entities, aligning operational systems to serve staff, students, and community stakeholders. He builds multidisciplinary teams by fostering self-accountability, professional development, and clinical integrity.
Susan Damico, M.A.
Director, Devereux Center for Resilient Children
Susan Damico joined Devereux in 1996. Today, she is responsible for promoting the national and international use of Devereux’s strengths-based and research-informed assessments and strategies to foster the resilience and social and emotional development of young children, and of the adults who care for them. She has been instrumental in the publication of the suite of Devereux resilience resources, including the Devereux Early Childhood Assessment (DECA) Program for infants, toddlers and preschoolers.
